Effective for NDGYS 2026 Registrations

Please read this Refund Policy carefully before completing your registration for the New Delhi Global Youth Summit 2026. By submitting your registration and payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms outlined in this document.

1. Non-Refundability of Registration Fees

All registration fees paid to Social House Learning (SHL) for NDGYS 2026 are strictly non-refundable. This policy applies without exception under all circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Personal withdrawal or change of decision by the participant.
• Visa rejection, delay, or denial by any immigration authority.
• Travel cancellations, flight disruptions, or logistical issues.
• Medical emergencies or personal health complications.
• Family emergencies or personal obligations.
• Academic scheduling conflicts or institutional constraints.

No refund, cancellation, or deferment request will be entertained once registration has been completed and payment has been processed.

NOTE: The non-refundable nature of this policy is firm and applies irrespective of the circumstances cited by the participant. Participants are strongly advised to ensure their availability and eligibility before completing registration.

2. Non-Transferability of Registrations

Registrations for NDGYS 2026 are personal and non-transferable. This means:

• A registration cannot be transferred to another individual, institution, or delegation.
• Participation credentials, committee assignments, and issued certificates are tied exclusively to the registered participant.
• Any attempt to transfer, resell, or reassign a registration will result in immediate cancellation without refund.

3. Visa Responsibilities

Social House Learning does not assume any responsibility for visa-related matters. The following terms apply to all international participants:

• All visa applications, supporting documentation, associated fees, and follow-up procedures are the sole responsibility of the participant.
• SHL may provide a participation confirmation letter or invitation letter for visa application purposes upon request; however, issuance of such a letter does not guarantee visa approval.
• No refund will be issued in the event of a visa rejection, delay, or any immigration-related complication, regardless of the stage of the visa application process.
• Participants are advised to initiate visa applications well in advance of the summit dates.

ADVISORY: International participants are urged to verify visa requirements for India well in advance and to factor in adequate processing time before registering.

4. Disqualification & Expulsion

Social House Learning reserves the right to disqualify or expel any participant found to be in violation of the NDGYS 2026 Code of Conduct. In such cases:

• The participant will be immediately removed from all summit activities, committees, and competitions.
• No refund of registration fees will be provided upon disqualification or expulsion.
• The participant may be barred from future SHL events and programmes.
• Depending on the severity of the violation, Social House Learning reserves the right to initiate legal action under the jurisdiction of competent courts in Delhi, India.

5. Summit Cancellation or Postponement by the Organiser

In the unlikely event that the New Delhi Global Youth Summit 2026 is cancelled or postponed by Social House Learning due to circumstances beyond the organiser's reasonable control, the following shall apply:

• Natural disasters, acts of God, or environmental emergencies.
• Pandemic, epidemic, or public health emergency declarations by governmental or international health authorities.
• Government orders, regulatory restrictions, or force majeure events.
• Venue unavailability or other uncontrollable operational circumstances.

In the event of an organiser-initiated cancellation, participants may be eligible to receive a partial or full refund of registration fees, subject to SHL's sole and absolute discretion. Any decision regarding refunds in such scenarios will be communicated to registered participants through official channels.

IMPORTANT: Refunds in cases of organiser-initiated cancellation are not guaranteed and remain entirely at the discretion of Social House Learning. The extent of any refund will depend on costs already incurred by SHL at the time of cancellation.

6. Final Acknowledgment

By completing registration and submitting payment for NDGYS 2026, every participant expressly acknowledges and agrees to the following:

• All registrations are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.
• No exceptions to this policy will be granted under any personal, medical, logistical, or external circumstance.
• The participant has read and understood this Refund Policy in its entirety prior to registration.
• Social House Learning shall bear no liability for any loss, cost, or inconvenience arising from the participant's inability to attend the summit.

PARTICIPANT DECLARATION: I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the Registration & Refund Policy of NDGYS 2026. I acknowledge that my registration is final, non-refundable, and non-transferable, and no exceptions will be made under any circumstance.
